Research Description
Shan is a bioinformatics graduate student whose interest lie in understanding the temporal sequence of cell state transitions as somatic cells reprogram to iPSCs. He is currently co-mentored with Jason Ernst with hopes to develop methods to infer the dynamics of gene activation/inactivation for cells undergoing reprogramming.
